Open Sew: Me-Made Swap Edition

  • City Sewing Room 6700 Arsenal Street St. Louis, MO, 63139 United States (map)

Do you want some open studio time at the City Sewing Room? Do you want to sew alongside others in our sewing community? Do you want some private shopping time at the Maker’s Mart? Then join me for our monthly Open Sew! Bring whatever you’re working on or come and shop the maker’s mart at the city sewing room to find a new project; fabric and notions are just $2 per pound so come ready to get inspired.

This month only : bring me-made items you no longer wear to swap for something from another maker!

You read that right; we will be doing a me-made swap the night of the event! I know we all have items we’ve made that no longer fit or simply gather dust in our closets. I don’t know about you but it’s hard for me to get rid of pieces that I put lots of time and love into. So let’s make sure those beloved makes end up in the hands of someone who understands everything that went into them. No rules; bring what you want, take what you want. Everything leftover at the end of the evening will be donated to the Goodwill. I can’t wait to see what you bring!

Feel free to bring any food or drink to share.

If we do not meet the required minimum number of participants for a class at the City Sewing Room (3) I will let you know 24 hours before the event via email and will refund your class fee. Due to this, please send in your administration fee no later than 48 hours before the class.

The cost of this event is $30 and limited to 8 participants. Register for the event by filling out the form below and sending in your registration payment through PayPal or Venmo.
