Hi there! I’m Allison and I’m the founder of the Sewing Society of STL. I’m a career crafter, knitter, and sewist. I learned how to sew from a friend in another friend’s living room, and once I got started I couldn’t stop.
I created the Sewing Society as a place for my sewing friends to share their questions and makes during the pandemic, and once we could all sew in person again I started hosting sew-alongs and teaching sewing classes at my local community sewing space; the City Sewing Room.
I have watched this community grow, and I’m so excited and honored that you want to share in it with me! I hope I get to sew with you soon.
