Are you interested in creating patterns to fit your personal measurements but not sure where to start? Then this is the sewing class for you! Join me as we follow Sydney Graham’s tutorial for how to create a tiered skirt drafted to your personal measurements. This is going to be a fun one!
This is an advanced beginner pattern, so to take this class you must understand how to use a sewing machine and understand basic sewing techniques. You are welcome to bring your own machine or use one at the city sewing room.
What to bring:
- fabric : tiered skirts take a LOT of fabric, so while you’re welcome to shop the maker’s mart I highly suggest you bring your own because it’s sometimes hard to find large cuts of fabric when you need it. You will need at least 3 yards for this project; amount will depend on your measurements.
- elastic : the amount you need will depend on your waist measurement, but 2 yards is a good amount to bring.
If we do not meet the required minimum number of participants for a class at the City Sewing Room (3) I will let you know 24 hours before the event via email and will refund your class fee. Due to this, please send in your administration fee in no later than 48 hours before the class.
The cost of this event is $40 and limited to 6 participants. Register for the event by filling out the form below and sending in your registration payment through PayPal or Venmo.
